Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to make an appointment to stop by?
A: We definitely recommend it! We do a lot of running around during the day, so it’s always a good idea to give us a heads-up so we can make sure someone is available at a time that works for you.
Q: Wh?at are your hours? Do you take early or late appointments?
A: We open at 10am Mon-Sat and usually close up around 4:00pm. We can take appointments as early as 8am and as late as 7pm with a little notice.
Q: Do you offer financing?
A: Yes! We work with Westlake Financial to offer financing on CLEAN and REBUILT titled vehicles. We can also work with outside financing through your local bank or credit union. SALVAGE title vehicles are cash only.
Q: Can I have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic?
A: Absolutely! We just ask that the vehicle is back within 2 hours and doesn’t travel further than 20 miles from the lot (CLEAN and REBUILT titles). SALVAGE title vehicles would require being towed. Mobile mechanics are welcome as well!
Q: What type of payment to you accept?
A: We accept cash, cashier’s check, wire transfer and Zelle (for smaller amounts). We DO NOT take credit cards.
Q: How much are your dealer & handling fees?
A: Zero! Just the vehicle price + taxes and title. Yep, that’s it!
Q: How much are the taxes?
A: Tax rates vary based on address, but typically range from about 3%-9% for Colorado residents. We do not collect tax for customers who will be registering the vehicle out-of-state.

Q: Why are your cars so cheap? Is something wrong with them?
A: We strive for inventory that’s cosmetically flawed, but mechanically sound. Most of our vehicles will have some type of minor damage, and typically, repairs made by us are minimal. Transparency is key, and we’ll always list the damage/reason for the claim as well as repairs we made to the vehicle.
Q: Are your prices negotiable?
A: Nope. But we love that you’re trying to get the best deal possible! Our “Fair & Firm” pricing structure means there’s no need to do the haggle-back-and-forth dance. Most of our vehicles sell quickly, but we’ll typically look at doing a small price reduction if we have something on the lot for more than 30 days.
Q: Can I get temporary plates? How does that work?
A: Yes! We can issue a 60-day temporary plate for all CLEAN and REBUILT titled vehicles. We’ll just need any current insurance policy the buyer is listed on. Most insurance companies automatically cover new vehicle purchases for 30 days, so you won’t need a new policy for us to issue temporary plates. We cannot issue temporary plates for vehicles with a SALVAGE title.
Q: Can I take it for a spin?!
A: Of course! All of our CLEAN and REBUILT titled vehicles are ready to roll! We just require a valid driver’s license and current insurance policy (on any vehicle). We also ask to keep the test drive to under 30 minutes. Legally, we’re not allowed to offer test drives on vehicles with a SALVAGE title.
Q: Do you have vehicles that aren’t on your website?
A: Yes! Many times, our vehicles sell before we get a chance to post them on the website. Feel free to give us a call or text anytime at 720-690-7465 to see if we have something you’re looking for!
Q: Can I get a vehicle history report? Like a Carfax or AutoCheck?
A: Yes! We use AutoCheck for our vehicle history reports and those are available anytime. Carfax is quite costly for us, so Carfax reports would need to be purchased by the customer.
Q: Do you offer warranties?
A: Yes! We offer warranty packages ranging from 3-12 months for an additional cost.
TOTAL LOSS
"Total loss" is a term used by insurance companies to describe a vehicle that would cost them more to repair than the vehicle is worth. It’s important to keep in mind that the insurance companies must take into account costs of ALL repairs (every small scratch and dent that was incurred). Repairing and repainting even minor damage can become very costly, so they often deem the vehicle a “total loss” and pay the claim according to their estimation of the vehicle’s value.
It’s also worth noting that “total loss” does not always mean the vehicle was in a collision. Or that it has a salvage title. Sometimes insurance companies consider the vehicle a “total loss” for things like hail or theft, and the vehicle can still have a CLEAN title.
CLEAN Title
A CLEAN title vehicle has not incurred a significant event or damage that would require the title to be branded.
REBUILT Title
Also called a “REBUILT FROM SALVAGE” title, describes a vehicle that was considered a total loss by insurance and has been repaired, inspected and deemed roadworthy by the Colorado State Patrol. REBUILT titled vehicles are immediately ready to drive, insure and obtain license plates.
SALVAGE Title
A vehicle with a SALVAGE title has been declared a total loss by an insurance company and cannot be driven on public roads until it has been inspected by the State Patrol and deemed roadworthy. Paperwork must then be filed with the DMV to convert the SALVAGE title to a REBUILT FROM SALVAGE title. After it is branded REBUILT, it can be insured, registered and is legal to operate on public roads.
